From the LDSSA Students: If you like asking questions and getting answers, Brother Ardern is your teacher. His lessons always unfold and expand on points of doctrine and history that I never knew, giving me so many questions to study. He is very literate in church history and the doctrines of Christ. He always answered questions with resources to study and insights to ponder. His classes are extremely entertaining and bursting with the spirit.

BIO: Brother Wade Ardern taught seminary in New Zealand for 3 years and has taught in Cache Valley for 15 years. He served in the Canada Calgary Mission and then completed a Bachelor’s Degree at Waikato University in his native New Zealand. He earned a Master’s Degree in archaeology at BYU where he met his wife Jessica. They were sealed in the Portland Oregon Temple and are now the parents of five children. His top interests include Church history, the Apostles, international travel, the All Blacks, and good food (he’d aspire to be a chef if he wasn’t a teacher). His top priority is the happiness of his wife and kids.
